I guess I can use this for a journal too.
In any case, I had horrible misconceptions about graduate classroom demographics. I thought it would be a bunch of 22 year olds like myself but it's mostly a bunch of middle aged women that make me want to stab myself in the dick.
Spokane is a pretty good city, at least food wise. Any location that has indian food, a cheesesteak place and a Sonic within half a mile is okay by me. Otherwise I think this place is more similar to the midwest than I thought.
For some reason I imagined that because a state has a big city on the coast that it will naturally be that way everywhere else, even though I had already lived the majority of my life in a state where that was clearly not true.
Go read The Collector if you want to read a well written and interesting story about a bizarre man that holds a student prisoner.
I guess next is All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy since my library didn't have The Road or Blood Meridian.

I basically like everything on their menu.
The fact that they have tater tots and chili dogs and stuff you normally can't get at fast food places is a huge bonus. |

I finished college too fast. Everyone else here is enjoying themselves and taking their time, and I finished my studies by 21.
My life sort of sucks now. I mean, I've sort of risen the career ladder, but I have no interest in working, and I always go late. Today is the third sick leave I have taken this week, and the last sick leave I had taken was only two weeks back.
I probably would have been reprimanded if I didn't always achieve my targets and make almost no mistakes. |

I really need to start my own business. I dont understand people who work 30 years in a company and never have a sick day. |

I'm not taking my time! I went into the super fast program so that I could get my master's by the time I'm 23 (next year).
However finishing the degree on time is only part of it. If you don't really have an idea of what to do, then there's no need to rush it. Really, just figuring out what you want to do is 95% of the problem. Doing the work isn't that hard if you're even remotely interested in your field.
I guess getting a degree just to get one sounds good in theory, but I've never really seen that work out well. |

As long as Outland isn't the one in charge of making the plan, I'm in. |

The wikipedia summary is not 2/3 of a book narrated in the character's voice. |

Well, it doesn't help that they highlighted activities that are much more characteristic of basically anyone else at the board over me. |

Yeah!
Although that was about 15 years ago, but I enjoyed it at the time. |
