Victories should be counted differently. If one person gets one win in a four person game, and three people one loss, then W doesn't equal L.
A victory should be worth 1/(number of winners) (for a team win) and a loss should be 1/(number of losers). That way if you play a lot of evenly matched 4 person battles, it doesn't crush your ratio.
I was also thinking we could assign credit for a win based on ratios before the battle, but that would just make it harder to topple the hierarchy. |
