Anyways, the fad that we commonly know as emo was actually never emo. A lot of bands mis-identified themselves as such and journalists are lazy so they just labeled them emo. It was really just punk-pop. Yes, it is correct that we can apply people who dress in THAT WAY (you know exactly what I'm talking about) and listen to THAT KIND OF MUSIC as being "emo," but we can definitely say that since emo had already occurred in the early to mid-nineties, that it was just generally misapplied.

Nothing wrong correcting history and public perception so that it's accurate!

No i never went to another show of theirs becuase they are possibly one of the worst live bands i have ever seen. I did go to a local gay bar afterwards and find a bear to fuck me though.
