KateFord: Sorry, forgot!
Jason: better be sorry ...
Jason: Chapter Three: Prisoner of War
Jason: Dai nemici mi guardo io, dagli amici mi guardi Iddio!
Jason: I protect myself from my enemies; may God protect me from my friends!
Jason: - Italian proverb
Jason: You sit in the back seat of the jet black car that Isabela sent for you. The three men you met tonight, Kostas, David, Orson, have left to different places. You remember Kostas saying he would go to the prince after Adolfo, and you worry.
Jason: The driver is silent.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: Is the driver the only one in the car?
Jason: Yes.
KateFord: I guess I'll heal those points of damage.
KateFord: Then I'll ask him, "Where are we going?"
KateFord: over
Jason: You close your eyes, and your vitae cleanses your body of the car wreck. You've healed.
Jason: The driver, a young ghoul you recognize in Isabela's employ, though you don't know his name, keeps is eyes on the road and says "Mrs. Villareal is waiting for you at The Abyss."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I wonder what the hell she's doing there, but I guess it's possible she expected me to be there.
KateFord: Tonight has been strange and I still don't know what it's all about.
KateFord: I sit quietly until we arrive, thinking over tonight's events.
KateFord: over
Jason: The city is awash with motion around you, lights pass by in the darkness of night. Finally, the driver takes you to the back entrance of your club, where you can hear the music playing on the main floor.
Jason: "I'll be waiting out here," he says.
Jason: Over.
FagBigot left the room (quit: Ping timeout).
KateFord: I nod and head inside the club, then look around for Isabela.
KateFord: over
Jason: You walk into your office and see Isabela sitting at your desk, and another figure whom you recognize as the Bishop Sapphire that she mentioned. Sapphire was once male, but he's fleshcrafted himself into complete androgyny. Additionally, its oval head is almost a foot and a half tall, an extremely unsettling sight, topped by a small meadow of snow white hair. It is dressed in a very simple suit.
Jason: "Ah, Kate," Isabela says and stands to greet you. "I'm glad you're OK."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I try my best to ignore the fact that a goddamn monstrous freak is sitting nearby.
KateFord: "What happened? I'm still not clear on anything."
KateFord: over
FagBigot [asdf@hide-EDB5F74A.dsl.pltn13.sbcglobal.net] entered the room.
Jason: "Luca," she says, "he had a measure of revenge to take upon a man in the audience tonight. I knew he'd planned to confront him but I had no idea he meant so spectacularly. He meant you and me no harm, though."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "What did this guy do?"
KateFord: over
Jason: "He cheated Luca some years ago. It's a terrible story, I shouldn't repeat it."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Please, it would put my mind at ease to just know what it's all about."
KateFord: over
Jason: Sapphire speaks. Its voice is a shrill interweave of musical chords. It says: "Do you remember the Week of Nightmares some time ago?"
Jason: Roll Perception + Occult, difficulty eight.
***KateFord rolls a d10 6 times: 2, 2, 2, 1, 2, 10, total: 19
KateFord: Hahaha
Jason: Eesh.
Jason: You fail to recall what Sapphire could be referring to.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I shake my head and figure it was before my time.
KateFord: over
Jason: "Well, it doesn't matter, dear," chimes Isabela. "That man owes Luca a blood debt, and thanks to our beautiful Sapphire, he will claim it."
KateFord: Fucking stupid rolls.
KateFord: Now do you believe I'm not cheating?
Jason: I believe you will be further tempted to do so on subsequent rolls.
KateFord: huhuhu
Jason: It's nothing personal!
KateFord: Anyway, continue.
Jason: I'm letting you roll anyway, bear in mind.
Jason: I just worry.
Jason: Sapphire speaks again, shaking you. "The dreaded Camarilla will likely demand some kind of penance for the scene at the opera house tonight. We must resolve this issue."
Jason: Over.
FagBigot: Nothing REALLY made me want to cheat until I got to Malthe in the sewer.
KateFord: "Is there anything I can do to help?"
KateFord: over
Jason: "Well -" starts Isabela, but Sapphire interrupts. It says: "Tell us your whereabouts after the fire this evening."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "I panicked when Isabela was taken by Luca, I tried to chase after her, but he was long gone by the time I got out of the opera house."
KateFord: "After that, I've just been trying to figure out what happened."
KateFord: over
Jason: "Why did you go to your father's building?" Isabela asks quickly, to intercede.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "My parents were at the opera house, too. My father asked me to find out what happened to his business associate, Adolfo. He recalled that Adolfo may have gone there."
KateFord: over
Jason: "Business associate ..." murmurs Sapphire.
Jason: "Your father knows Del Piero?" it asks.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Yes."
KateFord: over
Jason: "What did you find there?" it continues.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: This is going to be tricky.
KateFord: "Luca was there, and some other vampires. I didn't really understand what was going on, so I let them all go."
KateFord: over
Jason: Roll Wits + Subterfuge, six.
***KateFord rolls a d10 4 times: 2, 4, 10, 4, total: 20
Jason: You have a vague sense of caution that Luca may contradict your story.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: He didn't see shit except me standing there.
KateFord: Fuck that asshole in the first place for even putting me in that situation.
KateFord: "Luca jumped out the window and, as far as I knew, he had attacked my sire, so I wasn't very empathetic. I'm sure he survived, though."
KateFord: over
Jason: "He did," says Isabela. "We're keeping him safe in case the Camarilla comes looking for him."
Jason: "What were the identities of the other Kindred?" asks Sapphire.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Adolfo was there, but I didn't recognize the others and they refused to answer any of my questions."
KateFord: over
Jason: "Do they know you are Sabbat?" it asks.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "No."
KateFord: over
Jason: Sapphire strokes its gigantic chin.
Jason: Isabela says: "Dear, why don't we take you to Luca? He'd probably like to speak with you about that man, since you have a connection to him."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "He's here?"
KateFord: over
Bio-Brolly [asdf@hide-73FE1910.dsl.pltn13.sbcglobal.net] entered the room.
Jason: "No. We have him in a guarded room at Black Water."
Jason: Sorry.
FagBigot left the room (quit: Ping timeout).
Jason: "No. We have him in a guarded room at Black Water," says Sapphire. Black Water is a hotel, the finest place to stay in the Sabbat district of Santonna, often used for the Archbishop's congregations.
Jason: Over.
Bio-Brolly left the room (quit: Connection reset by peer).
KateFord: "I'm willing to speak to him, yes."
KateFord: over
FagBigot [asdf@hide-73FE1910.dsl.pltn13.sbcglobal.net] entered the room.
Jason: Sapphire nods its head at Isabela, who takes your hand and whispers to you "Let's go." She leads you back outside, back to the car. Looking back, you see Sapphire wrap itself in shadow and dissipate through the other door, into the club proper.
Jason: The car drives, Isabela keeps your hand in hers, matronly.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Is everything going to be alright?" I ask, looking Isabela in the eyes.
KateFord: over
Jason: "Oh, just fine, dear. Just fine," she says, and you reflect on her relationship with you. "We, well, we might need to leave the city for a few days or so," she finally admits.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I'm never sure if I can trust the words she says, I've seen how manipulative she's been in the past.
KateFord: But I really want to believe that this has effected her emotionally somehow.
KateFord: "Where would we go?"
KateFord: over
Jason: BRB
Jason: B
Jason: "Oh, just somewhere out of harm's way. Another city, an hour or two from here."
Jason: "We'll be fine."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I wait silently the rest of the way.
KateFord: It's impossible to guess how serious this situation really is or why I got dragged into it.
KateFord: over
Jason: The car stops beside a large hotel, so black that it blends in with the night. Each and every one of its room windows are tinted, giving it a very distinct aesthetic. Isabela bids the driver to wait there and walks inside with you.
Jason: The lobby is chic, the black motif makes it a draw to many yuppie tourists, despite the overall less impressive location in the city. Isabela is easily let through by doormen and counter girls, and you and she get into an elevator and ride it to the highest floor of suites in the building.
Jason: Out the elevator, down the hall, two pale Brujah antitribu stand guard at the door. You have to pity these folk, freeing themselves of the Camarilla in hopes of a liberating existence under the Sabbat, and they simply end up as the help.
Jason: They let you in. Luca sits in a luxurious black satin bed, cross-legged, in some kind of prayer. "Hi," Isabela says softly.
Jason: He turns to the two of you, opens his eyes slowly, nods.
Jason: "You and Kate should talk," she says. "I think she can help you. I'm going to go down to the bar."
Jason: She says to you: "Call me if you need anything."
Jason: Luca is still.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Luca, can you tell me what all this is about?"
KateFord: over
Jason: "I don't know what you it is you mean," he says, his voice still thickly European.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "I mean, why did you try to kill Adolfo?"
KateFord: over
Jason: "Adolfo is an evil man," he says softly. "I am here to bring him to the justice of the Lord."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "What did he do?"
KateFord: over
Jason: "He tricked us."
Jason: "And we Ravnos," he says, "we are not to be connived."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I suddenly fear no amount of questioning will be productive.
KateFord: "Did he take something from you?"
KateFord: over
Jason: "What is your purpose here?" he demands.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "From what Isabela tells me, whatever you did, this might affect me and her, too. I'd just ... I don't know, like to have some idea why this is happening. No one is telling me anything."
KateFord: over
Jason: "It is not of your concern," he says, then asks again: "Why are you here? Isabela would not bring you to me for something so frivolous."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Well, I might be able to help you find Adolfo."
KateFord: "I need to know why, first."
KateFord: over
Jason: Luca pauses.
Jason: "My sire," he says. "Adolfo knew my sire back on the other continent. He tricked her into giving up her land to him. When she attempted retribution, he killed her."
Jason: "There, that is my story. Are you satisfied?"
Jason: (Secret roll.)
Jason: Something seems off about his words.
Jason: "Now tell what you have for me."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Just a quick question, do you know why Adolfo was interested in your sire's land?"
KateFord: over
Jason: "He is a peddler. He buys for one, sells for two, or he steals and sells for three. A simple, no account con artist."
Jason: "Enough," he says, "it is wearying to speak of him."
Jason: "Tell me."
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "I know his boss, the man he's working for in this city. With his help, if Adolfo is still in town, I could possibly track him down."
KateFord: over
Jason: "You know James Ford?" he asks.
Jason: "How?"
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I wonder if it would be wise to tell him the truth.
KateFord: He doesn't seem trustworthy at all.
KateFord: "He's my father."
KateFord: I don't know what lie I could make up. Hopefully this doesn't cause any problems.
KateFord: over
Jason: "So," he says, "it was you who led those others there tonight?"
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "They already knew he was headed there. One of them was seated next to Adolfo when you decided to make your presence known."
KateFord: over
Jason: "Who was the thin one?" he asks.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: Is that Kostas or David?
Jason: Kostas.
KateFord: "I don't know much about him other than he was the man seated next to Adolfo at the opera house."
KateFord: over
Jason: "Why? How does he know him?"
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "I don't know."
KateFord: over
Jason: "All right," he says. "Here is what will happen: you will talk to your father, convince him to take Adolfo somewhere he can be protected. I will tell you the location of this place. Your father must promise him a new identity, and therefore he must bring everything of value that he owns in this world along with him."
Jason: "Do you understand?"
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Yes."
KateFord: over
Jason: The phone in Luca's room rings.
Jason: "Ah," he says with frustration, "more Sabbat psychopathic nonsense."
Jason: He ignores it. When it finishes, your Blackberry begins to ring. It's Isabela.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "I better take this."
KateFord: I answer the phone.
KateFord: over
Jason: "Kate, is Luca still there?" she asks. You can sense fear in her voice.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I'm not sure I understand.
KateFord: "Yes," I say with a little apprehension.
KateFord: over
KateFord: Sorry, I got a phone call.
Jason: "OK, tell him to stay there. You come downstairs, now; I think we need to get out of here."
KateFord: I'm off now.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: "Alright, I'll be there in a minute."
KateFord: I hang up.
KateFord: "Luca, I have to go now."
KateFord: I start heading for the door.
KateFord: over
Jason: He eyes you as you leave, but says nothing.
Jason: Over.
KateFord: I go downstairs to meet Isabela.
KateFord: over
Jason: Which ends our current session.
Jason: If things go to plan, there is a player reconnect next, so we have to pick it up as a group.
KateFord: ok
Jason: So I will see what happens with Stefan and Mike.
KateFord: They're both going to die.
KateFord: From AIDS.
Jason: All right, then they'll die in the hotel lobby.
Jason: Struggling, crawling.
Jason: And you may spit on them.
Jason: Or, well, shit on them.
FagBigot: I suggest that you shit on them.
KateFord: Whichever seems most clever at the time.

Jason: Chapter Three: Prisoner of War
Jason: Dai nemici mi guardo io, dagli amici mi guardi Iddio!
Jason: I protect myself from my enemies; may God protect me from my friends!
Jason: - Italian proverb
Jason: The cab drops you and Orson back at your apartment building, then drives away with Kostas remaining. You still feel remiss about what happened with Adolfo, but can't quite bring yourself to disobey his heartfelt plea to you.
Jason: Roll Perception + Empathy, difficulty eight.
Jason: I will, in secret.
Jason: Something is vaguely bothering you about Orson.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "Orson, are you doing alright?"
DavidBancho: I LOOK HIM STRAIGHT IN THE EYES.
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "Fine," he says, nodding. "It's just... well."
Jason: He takes a moment.
Jason: "It's just we were so close."
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "Yes, we were, but you can't expect this to be easy."
DavidBancho: "And Adolfo has his reasons for wanting us to stay away. He's trying to protect us!"
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "If you say so," he says, and opens up the front door of the apartment building, calls the elevator.
Jason: "What now?"
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "I was about to ask you the same."
DavidBancho: "I ... have to stay away from him. We can't go to the prince."
DavidBancho: "Wait, I have an idea."
DavidBancho: I'll give Orson the address that I found at the office building.
DavidBancho: "Why don't you go check this place out?"
DavidBancho: "This is where Adolfo is supposed to be staying."
DavidBancho: God, I hope it is.
DavidBancho: That CHURCH
DavidBancho: "Maybe you can find something out."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "What do I do if I find Adolfo?"
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "Find out who Luca is if you can. And help Adolfo! Protect him if need be."
DavidBancho: "Find out anything you can."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: He nods and leaves you, walking back outside, trying to navigate this new city. You take the elevator back to your apartment, open the door, and are alone.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: Well, I don't really have anything to do.
DavidBancho: I can't go to the mayor!
DavidBancho: I'll just sit around and wait from a call from either Kate or Orson.
DavidBancho: over
Jason: The only place to sit in your apartment is either your bed or your piano bench.
Jason: Where will you go?
DavidBancho: I guess I'll DABBLE A BIT with my piano
DavidBancho: I'll play this:
DavidBancho: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOdZrC_ddxU
DavidBancho: over
DavidBancho: jk lol
DavidBancho: But I will play the piano, I guess

Jason: Again.
DavidBancho: roll 7#d10
dicebot: DavidBancho rolled 7#d10 --> [ 1d10=6 ]{6}, [ 1d10=8 ]{8}, [ 1d10=6 ]{6}, [ 1d10=6 ]{6}, [ 1d10=5 ]{5}, [ 1d10=5 ]{5}, [ 1d10=3 ]{3}
Jason: You hit a strong final note on the piano. Your mind is unclouded by the music, you feel lucid, and you feel cheated. Why in God's name are you staying away from Adolfo?
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: david-sama ...
DavidBancho: I'll quickly get up
DavidBancho: And call a cab and have it take me to the location that I sent Orson to.
DavidBancho: over
DavidBancho: I also grab my power armor and plasma cannon.
Jason: OK, you grab your neon pink condoms and self-lubricating anal dildo.
Jason: You throw your coat back on and rush outside, praying you haven't wasted too much time. You get a cab, you travel to the church whose address you discovered.
Jason: It's less a church and more a gothic cathedral. Its spires stab at the night sky. Stained glass windows loom overhead. It is very, very old and gray.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: Is Orson's van anywhere to be found?
DavidBancho: Or I guess my van.
DavidBancho: Or OUR van ...
Jason: Yes, your SUV is parked outside.
DavidBancho: Oh shit
DavidBancho: Yeah, SUV
DavidBancho: I'm such a baka!
DavidBancho: I'll enter the church.
DavidBancho: over
Jason: You walk into a late night mass. You see a Catholic priest giving a sermon at the altar, about fifteen people sitting in the pews.
Jason: Secret roll.
Jason: You look around and see nothing significant.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: I failed my secret roll!
DavidBancho: I'll scan the room carefully.

Jason: No, you see nothing significant.
Jason: There is one staircase on the side of the room, leading up.
Jason: Over.
Jason: BRB INTESTINES
DavidBancho: Hmm
DavidBancho: I guess I'll ascend the stairs.
DavidBancho: over
DavidBancho: afk to get some caffeine!
Jason: You walk upstairs, travel through some old hallways. A few members of the church staff eye you.

Jason: Down the hall, you find a small, removed room with a black mail receiver attached to the wall next to it. A label-maker label identifies the box as Adolfo Del Piero's.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: Ehehehe
DavidBancho: I'm going to rifle through Adolfo's mail.
DavidBancho: Actually.
DavidBancho: I'll go into the room first.

DavidBancho: Haha
Jason: As you step through the door, you hear a small creak of a floor tile and spin around just in time to see Orson attempt to tackle you to the ground.
Jason: You don't quite make it out of the way, and you both fall to the floor.
Jason: He realizes what's happened and immediately begins to apologize, getting to his feet and helping you up to yours.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "It's alright."
DavidBancho: "I should have been here with you in the first place."
DavidBancho: "Adolfo did something to my mind, though. I wasn't myself."
DavidBancho: "Did you find anything?'
DavidBancho: over
DavidBancho: I SHAKE THE DUST AND GRIME AND DIRT OFF OF MY CLOTHING.
Jason: "No, um, I've just been waiting here for him," he says. "I was going to restrain him so he couldn't run away again."
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "Oh."
DavidBancho: "Well, let's look around for a bit."
DavidBancho: I'll snoop around the room.

DavidBancho: Oh my God
Jason: 666
DavidBancho: Fucking bitch Orson is looking, too!
Jason: Not very well!
Jason: A parishioner stops by the doorway before you find anything useful and says: "I heard a loud noise, are you both all right?"
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: I smile at the man.
DavidBancho: "Yes, we're fine."
DavidBancho: I'll walk to him and ATTEMPT TO SHAKE HIS HAND.
DavidBancho: "I'm looking for Adolfo Del Piero."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: He takes your hand, gives you an effeminate shake. "May I ask what business you have with Mr. Del Piero?"
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: AFK I HAVE TO SHIT
Jason: Jesus, eww.
Jason: You just lost your experience points.
DavidBancho: sigh
DavidBancho: "Adolfo and I are friends, and I need to speak to him."
DavidBancho: "Do you know when he'll be back?"
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "I'm sorry, but who exactly are you? Mr. Del Piero has insisted on keeping away visitors."
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: HMM
DavidBancho: I could so easily defeat this situation with AWE
DavidBancho: But it doesn't seem like David would do that!
DavidBancho: I look as SINCERE as possible when I say this.
DavidBancho: "Yes, I know that he's a very private man. All I want is to speak to him."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: Charisma + Expression, seven.
DavidBancho: roll 6#d10
dicebot: DavidBancho rolled 6#d10 --> [ 1d10=5 ]{5}, [ 1d10=7 ]{7}, [ 1d10=5 ]{5}, [ 1d10=9 ]{9}, [ 1d10=8 ]{8}, [ 1d10=9 ]{9}
Jason: "He's down in the nave," the parishioner says, "attending mass. You shouldn't interrupt him, but I can tell him that he has guests and bring him to you."
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "Yes, that would be excellent."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "He will ask for your name, though, I know that."
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: This is tricky!
DavidBancho: "Ahh, yes. My name is Zoe. Please tell him that this is of the utmost importance."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: Some minutes later, an ugly gay Nosferatu enters the room, wielding a shotgun, saying "How many times must I kill you!"
Jason: And he shoots you to death.
DavidBancho: GAME OVER
DavidBancho: YOU DIE
DavidBancho: d
Jason: The parishioner nods and leaves.
Jason: Orson breathes in deeply, sighs. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" he asks.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "What's troubling you?"
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "I just don't want this to end as it did earlier," he says.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "I think I'm strong enough to resist it this time. I'd like to believe that what transpired earlier was an anomaly, but you do have a point."
DavidBancho: "Can you think of any alternatives?"
DavidBancho: "Maybe we'd have more success if you spoke to him alone."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "That may be best," Orson says, emotionlessly, tactically.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: Hmmm
DavidBancho: Do I sense anything strange about Orson?
DavidBancho: over
Jason: Perception + Empathy, nine.
DavidBancho: I'll use a willpower point
DavidBancho: roll 5#d10
dicebot: DavidBancho rolled 5#d10 --> [ 1d10=10 ]{10}, [ 1d10=8 ]{8}, [ 1d10=5 ]{5}, [ 1d10=2 ]{2}, [ 1d10=10 ]{10}
DavidBancho: Oh my God
DavidBancho: I'm so fucking excellent
Jason: You detect something sinister in Orson's words. You begin to wonder why he tackled you with such force when you entered the room.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: I'll use awe on Orson!
Jason: Charisma + Performance, seven.
DavidBancho: roll 8#d10
dicebot: DavidBancho rolled 8#d10 --> [ 1d10=8 ]{8}, [ 1d10=5 ]{5}, [ 1d10=10 ]{10}, [ 1d10=6 ]{6}, [ 1d10=5 ]{5}, [ 1d10=10 ]{10}, [ 1d10=3 ]{3}, [ 1d10=4 ]{4}
Jason: Orson says nothing. His expression softens slightly.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "Orson, I don't understand why you'd tackle Adolfo. I never asked you to use force. And I know you wouldn't normally do something like that."
DavidBancho: "Something is wrong here."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "I just wanted to ensure that he would not escape again. It was the best way."
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "No."
DavidBancho: "I need you to be honest with me, Orson. You plan to do something to Adolfo."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "I plan to get us answers," he insists.
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: I frown.
DavidBancho: "Let's just wait for Adolfo. I've decided to stay."
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "As you wish," he says.
Jason: You both hear footsteps coming from the hall.
Jason: Finally they come to the door. It is the parishioner once again. He asks forcefully, "Who are you!"
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: "Where is Adolfo?"
DavidBancho: over
Jason: "He said he knew no one by the name Zoe and I described you two and he left, telling me to get rid of you. Now tell me who you really are or I'll be forced to call the police."
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: I'll sigh and say, "I wanted to avoid this."
DavidBancho: I'll use awe.
Jason: Charisma + Performance, seven.
DavidBancho: roll 8#d10
dicebot: DavidBancho rolled 8#d10 --> [ 1d10=4 ]{4}, [ 1d10=7 ]{7}, [ 1d10=10 ]{10}, [ 1d10=6 ]{6}, [ 1d10=3 ]{3}, [ 1d10=3 ]{3}, [ 1d10=1 ]{1}, [ 1d10=1 ]{1}
DavidBancho: Hahahaha
DavidBancho: God
DavidBancho: I'll just use majesty
DavidBancho: Hmm
DavidBancho: Wait, that's going a little bit too far.
Jason: Yes.
DavidBancho: Yeah, I won't do that.
DavidBancho: I'll use awe again and use a willpower point.
Jason: Hmm.
Jason: Wits + Alertness, difficulty seven.
DavidBancho: roll 4#d10
dicebot: DavidBancho rolled 4#d10 --> [ 1d10=6 ]{6}, [ 1d10=8 ]{8}, [ 1d10=7 ]{7}, [ 1d10=8 ]{8}
DavidBancho: It is kind of amazing that it feels really wrong everytime I use presence.
Jason: You wonder the necessity of this. You know that Adolfo earlier mentioned where he had to go... he might be headed there...
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: Well, I was trying to calm him and and prevent him from calling the police.
DavidBancho: I wasn't going to manipulate him.
DavidBancho: Although I guess I was.
DavidBancho: SIGH
DavidBancho: "I'm sorry. I'll leave. I only wanted to speak to him."
DavidBancho: I'll EXIT the church.
DavidBancho: And if I MANAGE THAT.
DavidBancho: I'll go to the prince.
DavidBancho: over
Jason: Charisma + Expression, seven.
DavidBancho: roll 6#d10
dicebot: DavidBancho rolled 6#d10 --> [ 1d10=7 ]{7}, [ 1d10=5 ]{5}, [ 1d10=9 ]{9}, [ 1d10=4 ]{4}, [ 1d10=6 ]{6}, [ 1d10=3 ]{3}
Jason: He lets you leave, although you can tell that he won't forget your face.
Jason: He escorts you downstairs, through the large cathedral doors. He says as you both go: "Please, Adolfo is a very troubled man. If you care for him at all, you will leave him be."
Jason: Over.
DavidBancho: Once we're out of earshot or whatever
DavidBancho: I'll look at Orson and say, "Please take me to the prince."
DavidBancho: I'll get into the SUV.
DavidBancho: over
Jason: Orson obeys.
Jason: And here we stop the session.
Jason: As it's likely you'll connect with other players next.
DavidBancho: Alrighty
Jason: Well done.
DavidBancho: Thank you.
DavidBancho: I NEED TO PICK AND CHOOSE my PRESENCES a little better
DavidBancho: FUCK
Jason: You need to get involved with more evil people.
Jason: So you don't have to choose between Aweing or not Aweing priests.
DavidBancho: I didn't want to!
DavidBancho: It just felt like the best way to diffuse the situation at the end
Jason: Poor Adolfo.
Jason: Why won't you leave him alone.
DavidBancho: David and Adolfo probably kissed a few times
Jason: No!
