Dpayne: You recognize the symbol from the piece of paper Barrett found earlier.
Aden: Vykos'?
Dpayne: The symbol on the ring.
Dpayne: You don't know the nature of the insignia.
Aden: Is it Vykos' insignia? Do I know?
Aden: Hm.
Dpayne: Something leads you to believe that Barrett might know more than any of you.
Aden: I think back to what Vasquez told me about the kid. How Vykos was able to string him along ...
Dpayne: Despite maybe not being the top dog in the Sabbat, you know enough to realize that Vykos and the horned man are not the same person.
Aden: I know.
Dpayne: However I think I understand what you're doing so go ahead.
Aden: Carmella said the horned man wanted the kid. I'll deliver him, in exchange for her.
Aden: I can't say this in the chat, but from here on out, everything I do, I do with darkened eyes, resigned to my evil deed ...
Dpayne: You're lucky it's for Carmella otherwise you'd be getting a humanity roll.
Aden: Oh, I fully expect to come out of this a sinner. But it's my only way.
Aden: In my mind, I see flashes of both the horned man's promise of the world aflame... and Carmella dancing while it happens...
Aden: I want them both.
Aden: I'll make it happen, or die trying.
Aden: LET'S SEEEEE...
Aden: All right, I learned that the pale thin bartender must be some crazy evil whore that leads a band of dykes called the Furies, and we'll probably have to contend with her at some point.
Aden: Maybe at that time I can throw Ping to the wolves, so to speak.
Aden: It is safe to assume that my party blames me for the car wreck, when I was just trying to keep Devereaux focused on the task at hand and it's his own fault.
Aden: There's something extremely mystical happening in that park, sinister and unnerving, but I don't know what and I can't think about that now.
Aden: While at Carmella's wine store, Ping and Devereaux were told by one of her herd that it was prophesied that I'd be there and I may or may not have upset destiny by waiting for Large Marge.
Aden: Large Marge told me that the hair found on the Prince is not werewolf hair, and smells of sulphur. Barrett seems to have some kind of lead based on that. We've been given an address to meet her at tomorrow, but I'll burn in the Sun before I leave Carmella in danger for another day.
Aden: Devereaux and Ping gave me a letter from Carmella, which they presumably read as it is opened, saying that... wow...
Aden: Somehow, she must have freed herself from her imprisonment. She went to follow the horned man on a suicide mission.
Aden: The horned man may want me to diablerize him, or become blood bound to him, or something. Carmella says he wants me to drink from him.
Aden: She told me to stay human, but she... she needs to realize that I haven't been human for a very long time.
Aden: The horned man wants Barrett for whatever reason, and he'll get him, so long as Carmella is unharmed.
Aden: I'm going forward on pure impulse, and praying that nothing in Vykos' room contradicts my story. If they learn that I've lied, they'll probably kill me.
Aden: All right...
Aden: Over.
Dpayne: Alright 3 for what you learned, 6 for roleplaying bringing your total to 14 for the session.
Aden: OK, I'm spending fifteen on another dot in Lure of Flames.
Aden: So I'll have thirteen left over.
Dpayne: K, cool just note it on your sheet.
Aden: OK, sent you my sheets.
Dpayne: Cool, thanks.
