Dpayne: He wants you, he craves you, if he has his way you will drink him dry and unleash fire upon this whole world, so you can't forget that part of you is human. Please, I've seen it. Don't let it happen...
Dpayne: "He needs the kid who is with you to, so keep him safe. You can't let him succeed, or the darkness in the park shall burn us all. I'm going tonight to find out who else is helping him. I know I will be caught, but I must go."
Dpayne: "So please, stay strong, and remember I love you. P.S. Enclosed is the deed to my wine store, please look after it for me now that I'm gone, it will help you stay human."
Dpayne: The letter was from Carmella by the way although I'm sure you knew that.
Aden: I slip the deed into my back pocket.
Aden: I summon a palm of flame (Lure of Flames 2) to threaten him with.
Aden: Holding it in my hand an inch from his face.
Aden: I want to throw the flame at him and summon another one.
Dpayne: Roll concentration.
Aden: ?
Dpayne: Throwing fire at him isn't exactly accurate, but alright don't roll it.
Aden: Yeah, I don't mean to hit him.
Aden: Just get it around him and intimidate him.
Aden: I'm at seven blood points now.
Aden: Can I FEAST on any of these BUMS?
Dpayne: You're going to try and feast off what are likely the herd of the Rat King?
Aden: Aden doesn't know what the Rat King is, does he?
Dpayne: Nope, so yeah you can try and feed if you want.
Dpayne: Sorry for giving you a heads up that it will end badly.
Aden: Haha.
Aden: Well, I meant to ask if I should ROLL.
Aden: Or just look AROUND.
Aden: To get an idea of if it's possible.
Aden: I could just exit the park and feed or I DON'T KNOW.
Aden: I guess I'll decide my next move.
Dpayne: It's a lit clearing with a shanty town surrounded by impenetrable darkness.
Dpayne: No there is nowhere secluded to feed.
Dpayne: Oh yeah I forgot, roll humanity.

Dpayne: Excuse me.
Aden: Did Devereaux just make that mistake ... ?
Aden: /me rolls 2 10-sided dice: 3 10
Dpayne: You are suddenly wracked with guilt for setting Devereaux on fire despite the fact that he just delivered a letter and deed from your love that he didn't have to. You don't feel too bad though so you only lose 1 point of humanity instead of 2.
