Book 24, chapters 8 of FotNS. In related manga translation news, my good friend The Vinny Mac, who so graciously edits Fist of the Blue Sky, has just released the first five chapters of Mad Bull 34. This series has insane violence on par with Fist of the North Star and is highly recommended. The lengths to which Vinny went to obtain this manga are nothing short of incredible. Support his project by going here and run a search for Baki while you're at it to see the chapters I translated and edited (chapters 28 to 39).

Book 24, chapter 4 of Fist of the North Star. Thus ends the Kaioh and land of demons story arc. This is also where the anime ends so if you have already been exposed to Fist of the North Star in that way, this is where you start seeing new stuff.

Book 19, chapters 5 and 6. Chapter 5 marks the 100th chapter that I've scanned and translated for this site! I'm pretty darned excited considering that this is my favorite manga, and possibly comic of any type, of all time and that I'm able to spread it to all those who have yet to experience it. While stiffing the creators out of royalties for their creativity and hard work, of course.

Extra special thanks to Alpha044 for hosting all these chapters and for putting up with my constant pestering via AIM. He's given so much and received nothing in return. Not that I plan on giving him anything. Ever.

Book 17, chapter 5. It has also come to my attention that it has been slightly over a year since this site has become a Fist of the North Star scanslation side. In spite of all the hate mail and comments in the guestbook, I must say that I've enjoyed translating my favorite manga and comic of all time. 9 books down and I plan on doing the remaining 10 and a half as well as the first 8 and a half in necessary.

Book 11, chapter 9 is complete. Book 11 was completed in less than a month. Pretty darned good! Unfortunately, don't expect that type of speed regularly. Expect book 12 to be much slower.

Wonderful news for fans new to the series and didn't buy the manga when Viz or Raijin translated it. Ma-trix, another scanlation group, has started the series from the beginning and has released book 1, chapter 1 for your enjoyment. Those chapters shall be mirrored here as well. They're also of better scan and editing quality than mine and since they're a team they'll probably go faster than this site as well.

Before you think I'm too worthless, I also have book 11, chapter 1 up for download. I can still hold my own!

Happy Independence Day and Happy Belated Canada Day to all fellow Canadians. Book 9, chapter 8 is now up. Sorry about the downtime recently. Anxious Anime got shuffled around a bit. It should be fine from now on.

Anxious Anime is now able to host chapters again! Therefore I'm going to start mirroring chapters. Not that there's that much of a demand, but you never know. Plus it'll allow me to personally upload chapters and make things a bit easier.

It's been about a month since this became a Fist of the North Star site. The number is visits has dropped dramatically and I've received mostly criticism as opposed to the praise I used to get. Nevertheless, I feel much happier translating this than Rurouni Kenshin. For the scattered few who still support me, thank you and I plan on continuing!

This site is now transformed! Instead of being Rurouni Kenshin scanlations it will not be a Fist of the North Star scanlation site. For those who are unfamiliar, Fist of the North Star is an amazing manga from the 80's about a man who punches people causing them to explode. My personal favorite of all time. Do enjoy!

Well, against my better judgement I've decided to continue the Rurouni Kenshin project until Viz releases the series. I also plan on finishing up the Kyoto arc so there won't be cliffhangers going into the official series. Chapters 128 and 129 should be up soon with all the old chapters.

Speaking of Viz, they did a bio on Kenshin in this month's Shonen Jump. They seem to be pushing it as a new part of Shonen Jump and even advertised that they would have another article next month. One interesting note is that they show a couple of sample translated pages and he refers to himself as Himura Kenshin rather than Kenshin Himura. I found that weird but whatever. I think they've done that with Naruto as well.

I'll be at WWE Raw tomorrow. I'll be holding up some signs that say "Shining Friendship" and "JUSTICE AND ROCK 'N ROLL" if anyone wants to keep an eye out for me. Also the Fantasia film festival starts in two weeks here in Montreal at Concordia university. Anyone in the area or who will be in the area should check it out. They'll have anime, Hong Kong films, Ultraman, Godzilla and a wide assortment from around the world. Very worthwhile!

I've decided not to do Jojo's Bizarre Adventure so now I'm just biding my time until I come across an awesome new manga.

Well...it has been brought to my attention by a visitor, Turtle, that Tokyopop has the rights to the Vision of Escaflowne so those plans are obviously in the trash. Now I'm leaning towards helping another web site with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Frankly, there aren't many series left even worth translating that have not been licensed yet.
