Tonight was Regis Philbin, NANCY FUCKING GRACE, and Carson Gayman from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

It's ridiculous, because the crowd applauds after pretty much ever correct response. Also, people like REGIS obviously ham it up like crazy, so there were two full categories left untouched in each of the rounds.

Nancy Grace humiliated herself three times, in addition to just overall looking and acting like a psychotic bitch. First she distinctly said "flamingo" instead of "flamenco" on a Daily Double, and the judges didn't accept it. She tried to play off her RAGE by saying "I obJECT!" but it was clear she was ready to have all the judges chemically castrated and put on the sex offenders registry. On the VERY NEXT QUESTION she answered without being rung in, in FACT she answered AFTER Carson had rung in. Then on Final Jeopardy!, she crossed out Billie Jean King (the correct response) and wrote some much less famous female tennis player.

Somebody Savant from Desperate Housewives, Curt Schilling, and Jane Kazmerac are on tomorrow. It's ridiculous, because the prizes are $50,000 for the 1st place person's charity and $25,000 for 2nd and 3rd. It's hard to imagine a selection stupider than tonight's, but it wouldn't surprise me if a charity is gonna receive $25,000 for a >$1,000 performance. I'd like to see somebody in the red at the end of Double Jeopardy! so they have to leave the stage.

How would you rank the difficulty levels of the various Jeopardy tournaments?

Is College Jeopardy easier than normal Jeopardy?

From most to least difficult.

Jeopardy
College Jeopardy
Jeopardy Teen Tournament
Celebrity Jeopardy

Sometimes the difference between College and normal is minimal, but it's still easier. Teen tournament is significantly easier (there's something wrong when I can answer all the regular and double jeopardy questions in an episode), and celebrity jeopardy is a fucking joke.

College Jeopardy is often harder than normal Jeopardy. Teen Jeopardy is KIND OF easier than normal Jeopardy. Almost every Final Jeopardy was retardedly easy in the last tournament.

Kids Jeopardy is the funniest because the judges are so awful at talking down to young people. This is also true of Teen and College Jeopardy, but Kids Jeopardy had my all-time favorite "What the fuck do kids know about?" category, Pizza Toppings.

It's important to recognize that they have to DUMB DOWN the show to a certain extent just to give the unwashed masses watching at home the illusion that they're smart, too. I think it would be really cool if they made the show super hard and let omni-nerds like Ken Jennings show us true power.

Ken Jennings is one of those phenomena you want to explain away and PUT IN ITS PLACE, but he truly did know everything and had buzzer control bordering on supernatural.
