Everyone needs to watch the Hellsing OVAs. They are really super badass.

Unfortunately, it's licensed, so I can't just POINT YOU to a specific area to get the shit. But pick any of those torrents, they SHOULD BE FINE.

If you watched the original anime, OVAs 1 and 2 cover all the way through that motherfucker (since half of it was filler anyway). The OVAs are up to 3 now and I imagine they'll end at around 10 at the pace they're going.

Man, it's hard to say!

I guess, yeah, it is. The animation is leagues better and it has a blistering pace like the manga, meaning it's almost entirely violence. And it's not censored, either, so people explode it big blasts of goopy blood.

Of course, the original anime's filler had some really awesome scenes (armless Anderson charging at Alucard with bayonet in mouth while screaming) and the MUSIC was goddamned amazing.

But yeah, the OVAs need to be watched.

Also, I think 8 bit is right in that anime actually has comparable pricing. I dont really understand animes situation in japan though

I still think that anime and its qualities supersede demand somehow, and that the whole enterprise is being subsidized by a clandestine organization of billionaire asian nerds
