Worst Disappearing Platform 'puzzle' |
|
|
I was just playing Double Dragon 2, and I was annoyed by the stupid disappearing platforms, and would like to hear about other games that have those.
I remember Iceman's stage has them, I believe. And they were really annoying. Although Double Dragon 2 is worse because you can die if you miss them.

If we're going to play a 2 player beat 'em up, we should play River City Ransom. |

Megaman 2 has some pretty horrible disappearing platforms. |

Magnetman's are by far the worst in any game I've played. Fortunately you can bypass them with the Rush Jet.
Heat Man's can be bypassed with Item 2.
Ice Man's are easy. |

Well that honestly depends on stage order. Seeing as how Magnet Man is one of the more capable bosses from 3 as well as having the toughest stage it's unlikely that you would do him before Needle Man.
Ice Man's can be bypassed with the magnet beam.
Double Dragon 2's arn't too bad if you're patient. The problem is that the jumping is very stilted in the game which doesn't lend well to platforming (the platforming sections in the first game are actually better done). |

Yeah, pressing both buttons simultaneously to jump is very annoying. Plus pushing three buttons simultaneously on a keyboard is error prone. |

Did Double Dragons 2 use that shitty isometric view, which should be banned from any game that requires jumping? Its been awhile since I've played that game. |

Heat Man's are far worse than Magnet Man's. Magnet Man just has those vacuum things that aren't that hard to deal with anyways. |

Magnet Man is fucking easy as fuck and so is his stage, what are you talking about, Derek?
Needle Man is the by far the hardest out of the first eight bosses, you almost need an energy tank or the Gemini Laser to beat him. |

Snake Man is the second easiest boss in the game after Top Man. Hard Man is also in the running because he's a fucking joke as well. Spark Man is likewise very simple.
Needle Man has a very simple pattern and effective sliding makes him a pretty easy boss since he really has to be close to doing any damage.
Gemini Man's difficulty is debatable as is Shadow Man.
Mega Man 3 has the easiest bosses after Mega Man 2. |

I'm starting to wonder if the difficulty of Mega-Man bosses isn't to a certain degree subjective...! |
