Northeast is north of maryland, and I guess east of Ohio

Midwestern and western are pretty easy to divide. Ive heard of missouri referred to as a western state but lord know what the fuck thats about. Probably so people could pretend Mark Twain wasnt a southerner.

I'm aware that the West and the Northeast are better than the Midwest, but I have to support my home.

Besides, the Midwest is a pretty big area, there are almost certainly places here that are better than places on the coasts!
