What's something your meatspace friends do that makes you feel like you're smarter than all those dicks?

All of my friends like Billy Joel in a very open, unapologetic, and, yes, UNIRONIC way. I've listened to Billy Joel as much as the next guy, shit, much MORE than the next guy probably, but I can't imagine listing him as one of my TRUE FAVORITES at any point after age 12. One of my friends went to a Billy Joel concert (Extremely expensive) and bought a shirt (What?) and wears it regularly (What?) not as a joke in any way.

A lot of my friends watch Entourage and stuff and talk about it all the time, and I just kind of go "uhhh okay." Also I get angry at my friends when I find out catchphrases that they have been using are actually from TV shows and not something they made up.

My roommates seem to talk about nothing but TV shows and movies. Over time I've come to realize that extended portions of their conversations and "witticisms" are nothing more than quotations from said shows. Not that I don't partake occasionally myself, but Jesus Christ, guys.

They also think shit like Family Guy is the absolute apex of humor and not just a wretched one-trick pony. They can't understand why I don't love it.

Really? Everyone I know now has done a complete 180 on Family Guy. Except people act like it was never funny, whereas I still believe the first three seasons were pretty enjoyable.

Do you drink any particular kind of tea usually? And do you just drink it straight?

Do you know if a kettle offers any advantages over microwaving? The best I can think of is that maybe it allows more OXYGEN to stay dissolved, which is supposed to help flavor, but that seems like it might be a lot of BS!
