So you're interested in going to film school, in an English speaking Country.
So I guess we should look up some film schools in those countries and see how much they cost for foreign students.
You may need a portfolio for some of them. I'm not sure how it works. |

Here is my idea:
I dont really want to go to top, top schools, since some of them are just insanely expensive for international school, especially us based ones.
I figure this is is not Meds or Science, so I dont need to get involved in the best school.
My idea is to enroll in a 1 or 2 year programme. After that, hopefully, get something in the film industry, doenst have to be big. Even if I get 1-2 year experience, and dont like living there and cant get citizenship, then I can come back to Dubai, and get in the industry here, but now with international studies and experience.
If I fail that too, I can always fall back on my BBA anyway. |

Arent there dedicated film schools, instead of colleges that have film programmes? |

Film is really not big enough to warrant a full school for it. Medical schools don't even have their own dedicated schools. |

I thought Jason was doing independent studies and Mike Dunn was doing communication. |

I've looked and bookmarked a few Australian and New Zealand places, but havent checked Canada at all, as I mentally striked it out.

The US is probably the best, but it's also probably the most expensive.
What types of things do you want to make? |

US is expensive, and to be honest, I am not comfortable with the country's increasing anti-immigrant attitude, plus their reaction towards people from the middle east. |

See, if you go to a place that is not in a major city, then it's probably cheaper. But if you go to a larger city then there will more likely be an Iranian community if you wanted to take advantage of that sort of thing. |
