One time I was playing Inkblot or Isketch or whatever, basically pictionary, and my word was something unremarkable and I drew KKK members giving the Nazi salute, and my dad came up behind me and I alt tabbed out of the game until he went away. I've actually scraped by almost unharmed so far when it comes to meatspace-consequences-of-FTU-behavior, which is amazing, considering, but I basically live in constant fear of the great Day(s) of Reckoning when I will have to account for the things I have done here. It is seriously one of my top 10 fears in life.

It's encouraging to know that all of the old FTUs were obliterated, but discouraging to know that you are all nonetheless still alive and have hard drives full of horrible, destructive fodder such as superfaggy*.jpg and diechris.txt.

I know that in reality nobody really cares or would bother expending the energy to do anything to besmirch me, but the paranoia is still very intense.

One thing I think about sometimes is that if the name "Chris Psaros" weren't more or less unique (I think there are less than a dozen in the U.S., and only ONE other Chris Psaros [some tennis player] shows up in Google matches), this wouldn't even be an issue.

Actually, one solution if I ever find myself in a position of political candidacy or otherwise notability is to start calling myself Topher. Because really that's no more or less correct than Chris.
