We bought a deep fryer this weekend and laziness is basically the only thing keeping me from halving (quartering?) my lifespan in delicious golden brown oblivion.

I'm gonna go make some french fries, then soak some banana bread in cake batter and fry it, and then see if I can make passable cheese sticks

I'm not gonna defend my deep frying complex, but I found an article online about deep fried Coke (it's ACTUALLY fried dough with Coke mixed in and Coke syrup drizzled on top), and the comments on it were so despicable I wish we hadn't even saved all their asses in World War II. The article was about a vendor at the Texas State Fair inventing deep fried Coke, and the comments were all along the lines of "fuckin yanks, you make me sick" and "no wonder americas obese fuckin yanks" and other condemnations to the effect of "I can't believe every American eats deep fried coke at every meal everywhere in the country, fucking yanks"

ALDP is right about how Canadians. They always try to remind people how different they are from America, but from were the rest of the world is standing, they are very much the same, except I guess Canadians are supposed to be nicer
