The matrix series are total shit. Just as hannah barbera ruined american animation in the 70s and 80s, the matrix was just yet more evidence that american tastes have gone downhill since the late 90s......

I liked it; but basically I felt in a lenient mood after days of future past or even Wolverine (which was good but rather corny). This also seemed like that type of movie that works better in theatres than at home or as a story (much like First Contact).

I agree that given how critical I am of movie writing I am being far too lenient on the plot. That said, it gets way more overrated than this.

I give it a 7 out of ten. Also, this actually isn't a bad "title" by Rick Christo, so good.
