This is a movie about the noted chess player Josh Waitskin.
The strength/weakness of this movie is ok pacing. I mean, they can't really show a deeply meditated, grandmaster level chess game without speeding it up a bit; indeed speed chess is a major theme of this movie despite Josh's Irish mentor claiming it is bad for his game.
It seems games would make a better anime than movies; due to animes notable 5 percent chance of making anything seem better than sex. This was still a god movie though so 7/10
