Has really demonstrated to me that the vast majority of people are fucking horrible writers. |

God damn right. That's one of the most difficult opinions to.espouse without brutal repurcussions. |

It's actually fucking astonishingly easy to say "Everyone but me and, implicitly, the person or people to whom I'm speaking is shit."
But yeah, man, fuck those other plebs who don't get it. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

Well, its easy to say "I love the concept of rape", but the repercussions would not be remotely favorable.
Most people are pretty awful at just about everything. Neither I or Chris indicated we are the sole exception. I consider myself abysmal at many things, and barely average at a few, and good at perhaps a couple things. |

Pat, this is Jason's **thing**.
He has a great deal invested in being irritated by people who self-diagnose exceptionalism in any form, to any degree.
He has noticed that this is a common psychological issue/cognitive bias, and overcompensates for it.
Let him be! |

I was actually thinking about that the other day.
It's standard humanity to believe yourself to be "above average" or exceptional in this way or that, but some people (by definition) must be right in their assessment.
Take that, psychology! |

No, it's only your thing to think that that's my thing. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

Also, Pat, to his credit, handled me humblingly well. You didn't have to tell him to let me be. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |
