I've been feeling fatter lately, which for the past several years has always meant that I actually lost weight and also am insane, but this time I'm actually sane and fat. If I shave my beard down to the level I like, there is a visible curve under my chin. My life is basically working until I don't want to live, followed by eating food prepared by other people (I never, ever cook anymore.) Today I went for an easy hike but as a rule I do not exercise at all.
How's everyone else doing, as concerns fatness? |

I've been working out on my exercise bike, cut back at my sodium intake, and lost five pounds over the last two weeks. However, I doubt I'll ever hit my goal of 160 lbs. I've been at it on and off for the last year, but it is nice to be at around 170 at least. I'm 5'8".
I also destroyed my wrist lifting, and it still hasn't healed. I think I made it worse today rearranging my bedroom because I'm an idiot and it is hard not to do things instinctively with my left hand. The anal(lol)gesics I'm supposed to take have been giving me ulcers, so I stopped. I got some pot from a friend, and its been making it feel better, but I'm not a stoner, and am not functional when high. In fact, I need to be a dark, relaxing environment, preferably alone, when I smoke pot, and have to set out about three to four hours to properly enjoy it. Not going to happen during the work week.
Anyway, tangent aside, I am at 170 lbs. Last year at this time I was 185 lbs at my physical, which was the heaviest I've ever weighed. I haven't been in the 160s since I came back from China. |

I don't weigh myself because a human mind can only take so much, and my mind is only quite a bit better than that.
I have started exercising again, though. _________________ @}-,-'- *~*~* Member of the FTU Elegant Tea Party Society *~*~* -'-,-{@ |

My god, you're all so light.
5'11", 210 pounds.
And that's after 67 days of P90X.
I've lost something like 5 pounds, but am a great deal stronger and more muscular, so muscle in/fat out is always going to be disappointing, weight loss-wise.
I'm probably going to have to do another 90 day round to get down to my goal (188). But I was anticipating that, since I'm not following the diet plan, because the cost and the hassle of doing so would be a nightmare. |

My current weight is around Chris's goal weight, and it kind of sucks. I have a huge gut, I've gone up to a 36 waist, and the clothes that I've always worn barely fit me anymore. Sucking in my gut doesn't even make it fully go away anymore. I basically built my whole wardrobe around being SVELTE and now it's all gone to shit.
I'm like Peter, in that I very rarely cook. I don't get home from work until around 10 PM and I never want to start cooking that late. I ride my bike to and from work every day, which I guess helps me keep my weight STABLE, but I'm certainly not losing weight any time soon. I'm 5'11" by the way. |

Living across from a 24 hour gym makes it pretty easy. |

5'8'' 125.
I have always been sickly underweight. And, also, I run pretty much every other day. I just can't eat a lot without getting sick, and I need my cardio to help relieve anxiety. I want to gain weight, but it's gonna require some schedule and diet. But it's gotta happen, I look like a friggin' girly. |

I'm 5'5'', in the 120-125 range. This is 10 pounds more than I've usually weighed. At first I was freaking out, but then I got used to it. People tell me I look fine, and if anything, healthier than before.
I still need to exercise again, though, for the internal health benefits rather than for weight loss. I lose weight really fast when I exercise though and it's pretty hard for me to not look emaciated. So it kinda makes me hesitant. _________________

I'm 5'11", and I got up to about 185 or so last year and it was getting to the point where I was actually kind of fat. Then we started making an effort to cook our own food and eat even moderately healthy stuff, and based pretty much solely on that I'm back to 172 which is acceptable. |

I'm not going to lie, that's kind of depressing considering that I've been thinking of you as Pork Pie for going on a decade.
My actual "thin weight" was 155, that's what I weighed when I was a senior in college and couldn't afford food. 170-175 is my "reasonable considering I've worked in donut factories for eight years, and also I'm almost fucking 30" weight. |

I'm 5'10" and 130.
The fattest I've ever been is 150 and I lost that all pretty quickly after I started working at UPS. |

It was a major blow to my conception of the universe when Big Fagot showed up all skinny in those pictures.
I STILL can't quite get my head around it, even though at this point (with respect to the duration of our shared existences) he's been thin for probably twice as long as he was fat. |
