Bleachbleachbleach, the thread |

This could be a journal thread, maybe. We'll see!
Also, I'll be taking questions.
Thanks, everybody, in advance. |

Seru,
Yes, probably.
Actually, I have no idea. I've always tried to check in every once in a while to see if the place was still going, just out of curiosity. Maybe it was the 10 year mark that finally did it? Such a milestone.
Anyway, definitely love.
Best,

Also, I will still use a drawing of yours as a personal picture, should you ever feel inspired. |

I already had two that I trashed because they were kind of sub-par. I will not fail you. |

That's what I like to hear!
That sort of thing, specifically.
Also, I know I said I would be answering questions in this thread, but: what do you think is the best DS Castlevania game? Or are they all pretty okay?
I sort of assumed you had played them, 'cause, you know. |

They're all pretty fantastic. Order of Ecclesia is my personal favourite because it's acceptably challenging, the glyph system is pretty tits (DOUBLE REPPUKEN), there's minimal recycling of enemies and bosses from previous games and it doesn't really have any aggravating, tacked on touch screen garbage. Plus the story is pretty much self contained and untainted by the absurdity of every other Castlevania game. Also, Rugal Dracula is awesome. Not as great as the last boss of Portrait, though.
Portrait of Ruin has far less fanfare but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The whole two character system is a little off-putting (JONATHAN! CHARLOTTE! Repeat in an infinite loop.) and the art design is dog shit but it's still plenty fun. More so than Dawn of Sorrow because that contains a lot of the aforementioned aggravating, tacked on touch screen garbage. Plus it has all the hideous grinding for souls that Aria of Sorrow contained. More so, in fact! Fine for one play through, dull and terrible forever after. |

I've got Dawn of Sorrow, and I like it alright (besides the 'fuuuck guys we better use this bottom screen for something' stuff, yeah). Good to hear that they only get better!
I just bought a DS, and I'm trying to catch up with what I've missed. It seems like there are 20-30 really solid games hidden amongst about a thousand total pieces of shit!

On second thought, I take responsibility for that one.
Sorry, everyone. That one's on me. |
