I just got over the flu, but at its worst, when my temperature was at its highest, I was having these crazy hallucinations when I was trying to sleep. These involved a jungle and mountain range growing in my bed. I was mapping them, but they kept growing and growing and it felt like I'd never finish the work, and the map kept changing from what I remembered writing down.

Am I the only one here who hallucinates when feverish?

I'm sure I've mentioned this in some fashion a million times but this thread is as good as any but when I used to drink heavily anytime I couldn't drown my brain I'd have horrific hallucinations. I constantly thought I was waking up in piles of guts or spiders or something. Apparently one's brain can become oeveractive when its not accustomed to being drowned in alcohol.
