I couldn't think of a CLEVER TITLE.

I'm picking this up today and I think like at least two other FTUers are going to get it so hey, here's its own thread!

I figured I'd get it now since my roommates aren't back yet and it seems like the kind of game I'd be embarrassed to play in front of them.

I was interested in this game from a video I saw in Gamestop. At this point though I am trying to play/beat so many other old games that I do not want to buy anything else.

This game is really fucking goofy and awesome. One of the opening scenes has Bayonetta killing hundreds of angel monsters while a cover of "Fly Me To The Moon" plays. At one point she gets behind a line of angels and somehow makes them all grab each other's waists so she can do a gigantic, 10-person German Suplex.

The game is really fun, too.

The commercial has Skream's Let's Get Ravey remix of "In For The Kill" by Laroux. That's a really good song!

I enjoyed every minute of the demo and plan on picking it up. Knowing the PS3 version is a terrible port only lowered my morale slightly.

This game is a lot of fun. It's a shame Capcom didn't make it a Bayonetta/Devil May Cry crossover has way too much retarded potential.

I heard that the difference isn't noticeable if you haven't played both.

It's kind of weird since a lot of developers who make a similar game to the ones they were making before they left a company tend to try and DISTINGUISH themselves from their past works. Bayonetta feels like halfway through development they lost the Devil May Cry license.

There's numerous references to Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, and Sega games. The plot is basically the same (instead of half-demon/half-human fighting demons it is half-demon/half-angel (I'm guessing) fighting angels).
