Whats a good external hard drive to buy? I dont give a shit about speed and stuff, I want something that will last. My current one is a Toshiba, and has lasted me for 33 years without any problems, so that's cool, but its only 80 gb. I'm thinking of getting something with 1tb.

Although, is it better getting two 500 gb, in case one dies?

No. I'm not a good person to recommend hard drives because I've never actually had one fail.

If you take care of it enough it should be fine.
Western Digital and Seagate are very good brand names for harddrive.

If it is very old it might be cheaper to replace outright but you can try and just open the case and rip your old harddrive out and buy a new one. Most harddrives now a days are SATA or whatever though.
