It's still a few months away, but who here is looking forward to this game?
ALso on a sidenote since it's the spiritual sequel does anyone know where I could download a copy of System Shock 2, I want to play through it sometime before this game comes out? |

It's like System Shock 2 so it's an FPS rpg (I distinguish this genre from regular fpses which are fucking boring) with a sci fi theme except with an emphasis on biological mutation run amok in an underwater city rather than a computer going haywire and killing everything on a space station. The previews seem to give off a similar atmosphere to Fallout (with 50s clothing and culture) while some of the gameplay mechanics look cool. Being able to mutate your character to eat metal and have both pyrokinesis and telekinesis (among other abilities) seems kind of awesome. |

A roleplaying game from a first person perspective like Oblivion, often with faster paced action than a typical RPG, but also being much more complex than a straightforward shooter gameplay wise (including a much greater level of customization and abilities providing a much more unique gameplay experience than a faggy run and gun). Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines is another example.
I need to download System Shock 2 since it's suppose to be this type of game and pretty incredible. |

Actually I read somewhere that they contemplated making Twilight Princess's combat first person. |

Yeah, a lot of older RPGs were actually done in a first person perspective, but I think Bioshock is supposed to be a little faster paced than that. Some of the videos I saw show telekinesis and the main character mutating his arm into a wasp nest and sending them to attack his enemies. |

They are making a Fallout 3. Bethesda (guys who made Morrowind and Oblivion) picked up the project. |

Most older RPGs are done in first person (Wizardry, Might and Magic, Bard's Tale (I believe), etc). But they're not realtime, like Ultima Underworld was, or some of the AD&D RPGs (Ravenloft and Eye of the Beholder?). |

I hope Fallout 3 isn't a total piece of shit!
Which is pretty much has to be! |

I don't know Bethesda makes good games, and it seems like it would be impossible to fuck up a Fallout game. |

The original ones weren't. I think Heroes of Might and Magic is realtime, though. |

Heroes is a TBS game. Legends of Might and Magic is the faggy action game they made (I think). |

Wait, I didn't mean Heroes. That's that shitty game that MADali likes.
I guess there wasn't a realtime M&M series. Hmm. |

Legends, but again it was more of a faggy action game. |
