This movie is great! It's very silly but not in an annoying way. Sam Raimi should make more horror movies.

There's a scene in the Mac Guy's office and his office is filled with apple products. I wasn't sure if it was a gag that Raimi threw in or if that guy has some sort of contract with apple where he has to endorse their products in his movies. Did he hack computers on a Mac or a PC in the Die Hard movie?

I do wish the movie was rated R so it could have more ridiculous blood spray scenes, but overall I'd say that the PG-13 rating didn't hinder the movie very much. I didn't think she would actually sacrifice the little kitty, but I guess I should have seen it coming.

The funniest kinds of movies are the ones that DO take themselves seriously, or at least fake it really well, but then fail spectacularly.

I really can't stand these stupid fucking self-aware campy bullshit movies.

It's pretty standard practice for all of the computers in movies to be Apples even though that doesn't reflect any sort of reality at all. This is because Apple pays money for that shit as advertising.

Drag Me to Hell isn't trying to be a good bad movie at all, though. It really is a genuine horror movie that's a bit campy.

I liked how there was a recurring theme of things coming out of the gypsy woman's mouth and things going into the main bitch's mouth.

If a movie were horror in a purely psychological way, or because of disturbing imagery, I wouldn't mind and might actually enjoy it. But the ever present danger of something jumping out and going "BLAAAGGH" is too much for me to handle.

My friend Alex lives in a warehouse where one of the other tenants is a transvestite.

She has a very manly voice and yells threats at people over the phone. It's really horrifying.

I actually gave myself too much credit, because even if a horror movie didn't feature any BOO shit I would still lose sleep. This goes all the way back to when I was a kid, and had to stop watching the Ghostbusters movie because Slimer terrified me.

Other movies I couldn't finish:

Raiders of the Lost Ark (I lasted until the skeleton popped up in the forest)
The Goonies
Gremlins
Mac and Me (fucking Mac and Me!)

I like to think that if I went back and watched Mac and Me and The Goonies NOW I would survive, but there are no guarantees.
