SansJason: Tony is talking to Christopher.
SansJason: And suddenly, just like that, the scene changes into this bright, white light.
SansJason: Not pure white. It looked like the sun, or an interrogation light pointed at me.
SansJason: I don't mean to imply any connotations, that's just what it looked like.
SansJason: No sound, but there's a subtitle. It says:
SansJason: I wish I could come with you every day.
SansJason: And I have just enough time to read it before it switches back to the scene.
SansJason: I swear this happened.
SansJason: I have absolutely no fucking idea what it was.

Seriously, what the fuck.

My first assumption was that it was poor coding on the (pirated) DVD. But the more I think about it, the more I am forced to accept that nowhere else on the DVD is that image and that subtitle.

Gabe's immediate reaction was that I fell asleep. I hadn't considered it until he said so, and now I am. But I would know whether or not I fell asleep. I always have.

But of course, the only other explanations are that it was a spiritual experience or I am legitimately going insane.

OK, it just happened again as I was writing this (I was watching the next episode).

Quick flash of pure white (I guess I was mistaken about the circle) and the subtitle "Can I come with you every day?" (I was mistaken about that too).

This was real, palpable, it happened, I saw it. I went to pause it and when I did it switched back to the episode. I'm rewinding and watching again.

It happened once more. I was able to pause on it, but it still changed back a second later.

Also creepy: I went to put on subtitles to see if the font matched, and when I did I discovered it was already on subtitle track four.

No other subtitles have appeared besides that flash.

What's more, I've watched these DVDs before and it has never happened, although I watched it on TV via PS2 and now I'm watching it on my computer with VLC, which is usually pretty buggy.

If you can, check it out. It's season six, disc two, episode Live Free or Die (it also happened in Mr. and Mrs. Sacramoni Request... as I said) at about 36:10.

I tried to right-click > Snapshot and it only took one of the scene. Obviously, Prt Scr didn't take it.

Also, I think I'm wrong and the sound from the scene still runs through it.
