I played it on the PS3. It is a really great game. It's probably one of the first games where I die on purpose to see all of the different animations.

I have a 9600gt video card, 4GB RAM, 4800+ X2 AMD CPU, and the game looks, runs, and loads perfectly.


It's not exactly a powerhouse PC either.

Is that right Servbot? There's nothing in my computer that costs more $100. I'm pretty sure my CPU is like $40 now.

Components aren't expensive at all. But the sum of them should be. I mean, I spent like $500 on Wii shit and now I'm too scared to hack it. So I guess I'll be dishing out 30-50 dollars a pop for a video game that I may or may not like.

Consoles aren't nearly as smart as you think.

Yeah, but you don't have to upgrade a console every few years. I mean the PS2 still looks better than my shitty computer (I built it five years ago) and it's almost ten years old!

Nobody said you had to upgrade a PC. I still use one of my old PCs to play movies and play Panzer General in my bedroom.

In my main PC, the only thing that's new is a $90 video card I got 6 months ago.

It's really not that hard or expensive. As long a you keep it well balanced, even news games will run fine. I mean, the developers just take a generalized average to base their required specs off anyway.

Crysis is the only exception, where apparently they expected for people to use an actual Transformer to run the game. It's really games like those that kill the PC market.

The only requirement for Deadspace to run well is a 9th generation nVidia card (9x00). And I run pretty much everything at max settings.

They also have a new motherboard coming out from nVidia with a descent video card built in. And that supposedly runs Dead Space at 40 fps. The market is "fixing" itself at the moment, as they realize that servbot's stance is frighteningly common now.

Crysis runs fine on my computer. So do the 2 Stalker games.

Fallout 3 is very buggy but it runs fine as well.

Dead Space still won't install.
