What a fucking sham. You dont save any money than buying a hard disk copy. Its not like you get reduced media cost or the price of gas and shipping still affect it even though its downloaded.

Yeah, it's bullshit! These game companies quickly realized the profit they could haul in if the kept the online price the same. Some sites sell the games cheaper (like $10) if you pre-order it so I guess that's something. The pitch now is; well, you are paying the same price as you would in a retail store but at least you don't have to risk going store to store because of out of stock issues or something like that.
