I was reading about some serial killer on wikipedia, and it mentioned one of his victims being called "Orange Socks" while they were working on the case. She was raped and murdered on Halloween. While I was reading it I was struck very ACUTELY by the image of her putting on those festive orange socks in the morning then getting raped and murdered.

What do you think is the saddest thing in the world?
