People need to define the south politically instead of culturally. That way people won't make retard comments like "durrr Texas isn't part of the south its teh southwest"

Also, any state that remotely qualifies as southern, is southern

There's truth to that in the antebellum period but since the start of the civil war the south has pretty much been a liability rather than an asset (despite significant cultural contributions)

Unless you mean all the stupid asshole douchebags in the north move south, which helps the north, in which case you have a point
