THIS IS GOING IN A GREAT DIRECTION AND EVERYTHING, BUT I HAVE TO INTERJECT FOR A SECOND.

When I saw 1408, the audience was pretty terrible, but it was a really enjoyable movie so I suffered through it. The first part of the movie though, the audience was basically a KRAFTWERK music video in terms of acting like some sort of terrible symphony of popcorn bag rustling, small murmering that comes from all directions, and fat oinking faggots. Then, once that quieted down a bit, 25 minutes into the movie, SOME AUTISTIC KID or something came and sat next to me. He would proceed to spend the rest of the movie making small exclamations outloud, trying to turn 180 degrees in his seat, and putting his arms and shit into my seat and hitting me. He would also laugh at very odd parts which lead me to believe I was about to be a victim of some guy trying to re-enact several of the suicides as murders that are enacted in the movie. I was also afraid that he was one of those indigenous people that inhabit Montreal who are mentally ill and always ask for money, but the lack of stench (I couldn't see his face) ended that line of thinking.

Anyways, it was amusing to see the guy who I sat next to (I saw it alone!) move when two fat guys came to sit on the other side of him and he was completely surrounded.

As far as talking goes, good movies are rewarded by no talking. That makes sense. If a movie is bad though, it deserves to be talked through, made fun of, etc. to the viewers content. Now this could be problematic due to SUBJECTIVE TASTES, such as when I was drunk and saw Troy and kept yelling out Gladiator characters much to the dismay to the packed theater around me, but I usually otherwise see such shitty movies that people enjoy it when we talk.

The rest of the movie was excruciating, though.

Seriously, Chris, I'm not happy about this! I was pretty excited about that movie when I found out it had Hamish AND Hamish's Father from Braveheart in it, but man.
