Honestly, I think Vito might have the right idea.

The main goal for the Others at this point should be to murder the opposing group of Others. The townspeople can probably just try and stay out of the way.

If the others kill off all the town's people (Or the townspeople do), the game will become rather interesting having an even group of others fight it out.

What? If all the townspeople die and there's an even number of others left, then there will never be a majority vote during the day and they would each kill one opposing team member per night.

In other words, the game would end in a draw and could not possibly be less interesting!

I doubt that would happen in reality. The less townspeople there are the harder it's going to be for the others to keep killing them.
