There is no way in hell that Miura will finish Berserk before he dies. Maybe Guts and the gang will fuck around at Elf Island so long in slowed time that when they decide to leave that the Berserk world is in the 2000s and Griffith is God King President Prime Minister of the United States of Falconia.
