Even though I'd like all opposition to the war to be credible and justified, I secretly wanted to go to that IVAW site and find out all these people got their veteran status on a base in Missouri or something. Apparently they're all real veterans, though!

Thats why I havent gone to the military yet.

The law is that as a person who is working (or studying)/living abroad from iran, I can put it off, but can only go to Iran once per year.

This guy at my work was stationed in a detention center in Iraq and this chick there, her parents sent a karaoke machine there and they would be up all night singing LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR and shit like that. Since the detainees were being constantly rocked, the people in charge set a rule that they couldn't do karaoke after 10.

You cant just judge a country or culture by how you imagine it to be.

While Japan is a better country than the US (shithole), its still one of the shittier industrial countries but most guides on Japan make it seem like ultra efficient paradise or some shit

But MADali is no tour guide and has been there, so I guess thats worth something. I planned my grand tour of the world for europe, and I dont think Thailand should be the country I settle in, becuase ive never been there

Yeah, this is hypocrtical because id never been to europe either, but I needed to fulfill my goal of making ALDP jealous by going to ITaly
