I currently work as a graphic designer, (still not sure how that happened), making about $750 a week after taxes and getting ready to return to grad school starting in the fall so that I stop working 50 hours a week because working sucks a lot.

Once my school shit is settled, I'll try to get published---if I ever put the effort into it.

One day I'll be a professor.

Once I finish school, I'm going to dick around for a few months until Summer '08, then I'm going to Japan to teach English, probably for two years. If this works out and I don't hate it terribly, I'll probably jump from country to country, teaching English, and learning new languages. Aside from becoming a writer, this path most fulfills my desires in life.

School sucks so much shit though, and I have no desire to finish outside of not wanting to be WORSE than Chris Psaros by being an filthy thirty year old WITHOUT a degree in some useless novelty subject. I do kind of want to go to Grad school for Linguistics, but if I do, it will be many years from now, because everything about school is gay and worthless right now.

I have to stay an extra year in college to get MAT certified so yeah, even though I'm a junior it doesn't feel like it. At least I get a post graduate degree in the process.

Teaching in a private school or wealthy district is basically all I want to do. Every teacher I've talked to said their job is awesome because they only really work about 25 hours a week and get a million vacation days, so sign me up.

I was always so opposed to teaching throughout all of high school and college, because Florida is god damned hellhole for education, along with the rest of the South. I didn't consider moving to a good teaching environment because they're all up north and I can't stand the cold. But fuck all that now, because I have to get out of this fucking place.
