Speaking of Asians, yeah i got the cooking job on May 21st, and on June 3rd, i walked off and quit! I worked with 5 Koreans, 1 Japanese, and 1 part time Mexican. Nobody there but me spoke Decent English, so it was difficult to follow any conversation.

It's tricky to learn how to cook anything when the person giving directions doesn't make any sense, and changes the directions every time.

"ok, put in water and boil noodle. noodle."

*fills up pan w/water and noodles, sets on stove to cook*

I think he meant for you to wait for the water to boil before inserting the noodles, which is the proper way to cook most noodles....

The way they taught me to make udon was to put the noodles in a measuring cup, fill with enough water to cover the noodles, then cook it in the microwave for 4 minutes 30 seconds.

Everyone started working on the 21st, and the restaurant didn't open til the 23rd. It's a half sushi half Korean BBQ place. None of the exhaust system worked so we couldn't use the stove or griller.
