I used to play, but not anymore. My brother just started again, since a week now, but I refuse to play. It is too time-consuming. I think what turned me off, was me being Level 60 Warrior, and my games involved doing the same dungeons again and again to finish my blue set, but I’d play for an hour or two in a dungeon, only to not get it. Or I’d be part of a nazi-regime guild, where I’d have to be on time to be on the raid, play for 6 hours in a dungeon, and not get anything, because of course, I’m competing against 40 other players, and they have played more. And when I wouldn’t go to a raid, I’d make up excuses, as I was taking a sick leave from work.

It really is a gruesome, repetitive game that you have to play against uber-nerds, who play on hours on end. MMORGS are really a waste of time, because it does not depend on skill, but mainly on amount of time you invest in the game.

I also don’t like a game where I have to depend on other people to advance. Fuck guilds and groups. They should be good for some additional entertainment value, but I should not be forced to be part of a group of people to be able to reach the level of other players.

City of Heroes wasn't that fun when I played it, it's possible they've improved it.
