I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the personal turmoil I suffered over the insultingly timely death of Matthew What’s His Face. I even composed a lengthy post about it before deciding to simply let my emotions rot inside of me alongside my long abandoned hopes and dreams. They were in good company.

Many (And manly!) tears were shed which completely caught me off guard because only three deaths in my life have impacted me on that level. Two of those belonged to dogs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not some sort of inhuman monster or anything. Those were just some really awesome dogs. Emotional detachment apparently has its limits. I actually had to leave work more than once because I couldn’t maintain my composure in public. Which was fine with me because my job is mainly tedious mouse clicking nonsense and if death is the only way out of it so be it. So I guess every terrible tragedy has an ashen coloured lining to it.

To celebrate my two unpaid days of bereavement I figured I would immortalize my grief in either writing or tediously clicking my mouse to create some nonsense. After reading back what I had hastily written and realizing I can’t remain genuine for a single paragraph (Dicks!) I figured I would envision Theldorrin in his optimal afterlife scenario and recreate it. HERE’S THE STORY. When he realizes there actually is an afterlife and the pantheon of Gods do in fact exist I figured he would possess his old body, genetically modify/Robocop the unliving crap out of it and decimate them to keep all his atheistic diatribes valid. Then he would go on to do whatever Andre made up for him in FTUW. I’m sorry if this Theldorrin II doesn’t mesh with your original plans. This is canon now. And despite it maintaining the traditional pixel art style of previous banners this actually took over a week to complete. Trying to recreate Michelangelo’s finger banging God with a single pixel brush is not an enjoyable task.
