I think we can all agree that Yogurtman is the most religious person on this forums.
He's all about Jesus and other fictional characters. |

I'm so far beyond "religion" that even objecting to it is beneath me. |

Why would you object to it when you're an extremist example of it, by your own admission? |

I do not adhere to any religion.
I make use of CONCEPTS from various religions, especially Buddhism, but I am not religious.
Anyway, what I'm talking about is the phenomenon of Americans basically having no real concept of any cosmology besides either the scientific-materialist, or Christianity.
For most people those are like, *the* two choices.
I'm just fucking tired of bringing up spiritual topics with people and them being like, "Jesus! Heaven! The Bible! Bible Bible Jesus! I don't believe in that stuff, I believe in evolution and when you die, that's it."
And inside I'm like, "ugh, just shut up and stop talking to me." |

I just deal with the science of these things.
Not gay, establishment, paradigm-locked science either.
Science coupled with personal experience and experimentation! |

Considering you're an American and I'm not, I think your post is very odd. |

Is it just me, or does the bible contradict itself occasionally? |

I believe all the possible benefits of religion can be achieved through other, more direct means which don't entail all the terrible drawbacks that religion offers. |

Yeah, threads like this aren't especially exciting on boards where no one is actually going to argue the pro-religion side. |

That's when they're most exciting, because it means that someone doesn't need to be driven from the forum. |

Remember when Chris used to troll with gamblers fallacies?
Was he just trolling or was he that much of a dumbshit? |
