I don't know. I'd say the subtle critique of capitalism inherent in John Goodman becoming a millionaire in ceiling tile merchandising might give Outland's story more literary credit than anybody's.

I couldn't disagree more with Vinny and Chris. This has all been a waste of time if we don't arbitrarily declare Mike the winner.

John Goodman is in his horrific NEST made of human bones and hair, sucking meat off of the bones of Big Boss or whoever he just beat, heaving back and forth erratically. He sits naked on the jagged floor, grease and blood covering his disgusting body. Suddenly without warning he is thrown across the NEST by a powerful force. Dazed, he looks up to see an adorable little hamster perced on the mangled corpse he was feeding on. In a tiny voice, the hamster says, "GOODMAN, it is time to face your judges!" Now from out of the ribcage of Big Boss (or whoever) slithers Gohan's greatest friend, Ao-Chan. "Thisss endssssss now!"

Goodman begins laughing, his face distorted and grotesque. "So you're going to judge ME!? HAW HAW HAW!! FACE ME! FACE YOUR NEW LORD OF MURDER!" He takes one step and the room shakes, bone fragments begin to fall from the ceiling. Now in a standing position, Goodman takes one tremendous leap towards Gohan and Ao-Chan, attempting to squash them, but they teleport behind him. Gohan grabs Ao-Chan by the tail and spins him around, BASHING Goodman in the back of the head.

This time when the monster hits the ground the foundations of his disgusting NEST snap, and the entire thing crumbles. The moon outside is full, and suddenly Gohan and Ao-Chan's eyes turn red and they begin to GROW. Soon they are TOWERING over Goodman, smashing trees and rocks in a rage, their OOZAROO forms showcasing their TRUE power.

In one swift movement, Gohan crushes Goodman beneath his foot, rendering him a bloody, squishy pile of broken bones and pierced organs. With Goodman now incapacitated, Ao-Chan swoops down and gobbles him up.

"It's finally over!", chirps Gohan.

"That's right, my friend, we finally did--"

Suddenly Ao-Chan begins choking and coughing up blood. "Gohan, he--*hack* *cough* *sputter*-- "he's.....EATING ME FROM THE INSIDE!"

A bloody fist punches through Ao-Chan's chest cavity, then another, until the giant snake's body is split in half, as GIANT DEMON FORM GOODMAN laughing spreads his wings.

"Nooooooooooooooo!" screams Gohan.

"THIS IS MY TRUE FORM!" bellows Goodman as he sinks his claws into the eye sockets of the giant hamster, drinking its blood as it spurts into his face. "YOU CAN NEVER ESCAPE, MY WRAAAAAAAAAAATH!" With the brute force of one thousand elephants, Goodman tears Gohan's head off. Goodman then consumes his two greatest competitors with one gulp each, not even bothering to chew. He licks his lips and flies off in search of his next meal....


...UNTIL all of a sudden CRACKS form throughout his skin, with white light radiating from beneath. His engorged body puffs up even more, and the beast can feel the dark forces which bind his body together being stripped away. With his final words, GOODMAN comes to a terrible realization. "This must be...shining...friendship..." Goodman's body explodes, filling the landscape with a glorious white light, and causing hundreds of beautiful flowers to bloom all over. From the ashes of his body emerge Gohan and Ao-Chan, happily trotting/slithering away to spread peace and love across the land. For even though their bodies were torn asunder by the beast himself, nothing can ever defeat the power...of friendship.
