I remember Rick Cristo sent David Wong an e-mail complaining about how something in the story didn't make sense, and he replied back calling him an idiot or something. |

I like Cracked and the Cracked folk such as John Cheese and David Wong, but I wish they'd stop billing it as a "comedy" site, because it's really not. It's basically an edutainment/neckbeard self-help site. The only writing that's actually funny is Seanbaby. The "humor" is just articles written in extremely average, blog-style snark. |

I should write some articles for Cracked. They'll obviously take pretty much anything, and all I have to come up with is some dumb, ranty/pedantic list of things that society has widespread misconceptions about. I don't think that would be too much of a stretch for me. |

Yeah, I got this.
But first I'd need to set up at least one website to funnel all of that traffic to. So I guess my 500 word piece of shit will have to wait until I've realized some labyrinthine, extremely ill-advised website or blog idea that will take me six months to produce. |

Its such a terrible bind, brought forth.by uncontrollable circumstances. You had hit gold with DBZ Uncensored, I don't remember how "big" it was, but it was vastly better than similiar sites, such as Planet Namek, and Da Black Goku (that is a lie, Day Black Goku was just a few years ago used as a banner to MILF porn), though not Dragonball AF. I forget the site the furry monstrosity assembled with an army of IRON followers)(Mike Labrie? Eric Phan? either way I was watching Frank play Diablo 2and when he was finished he had this site on; I also found deep in system programming files under a bland name a set of files of files that caused me great feelings of disgust : a large set of ladyboys and hermaphrodites and a strange obsession of pictures of Jennifer Lilly and and I suspect he had homosexual feelings for me as he told me it would be okay if I fucked Liz and he'd letme do it. Also o.ne day he told me he was coming down wiyh one gram of NY Diesel, o.ne gram of pure as freshly driven snow coke, or a tab of MDMA which we both had a third of and SS.Ted to sleep in my bed after getting liquor of most of a bottle of Jim.beam in him, that doper wanted to rick me!) But I wander, you are a much better writer than any of them, and you fell to the wayside with them, though your lovely children moved in with you at a message board ruthlessly razed and then ressurected as a new town.
You are deserved of a position where you can make money writing shit like you listed--hell an essay on donkey Kong would be more of a good written humorous articulate writing segment then "four reasons lesbians are scientologist", or some shit. But no, you are not borne into the money required and droves of fans who think fart jokes written sarcastic like is better than the hide of a polar bear cub |

A while back I was watching TV and happened to come across Peter Kelamis doing his shitty standup routine, and I was like, "Hey, that guy up there once chewed out Chris Psaros via e-mail!" |

Is Misery Stephen King's best fiction book or is his *ghosts* stuff better? I am skeptical but willing to try a few recommendations since I really liked Misery. |

Misery is his best book but they're all pretty good. Different Seasons is a good collection that also isn't ghost-related if that is important to you. |

I know it's the only one of his books I've ever read, but I bet you'd like The Long Walk because it's also psychologically suspenseful and I was really taken by it.
And if you haven't seen Misery, the film, uh, see that, too. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

Also, I fucking read John Dies at the End (I fucking read that shit when it was a fucking web serial in 2003, brah) and This Book is Full of Spiders, non-chatting doofus.
And Roy's misremembering how that Rick Cristo thing went. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

Stephen King has quite a few non-horror stories/books. I went on a Stephen King kick a few years ago and I think he's a better writer than he gets credit for.
I'll second Different Seasons. It includes The Shawshank Redemption, which is pretty good on its own. |

Triple Life, what DO YOU THINK of Neuromancer and Naked Lunch? Would you agree the top five all-time books are Neuromancer, A Confederacy of Dunces, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, American Psycho, and Naked Lunch?
I defy anybody to top that list unless it's an enormous library of the tikhal/pikhal PI for every pharmaceutical in history with the latest DSM a Nursing Hand book and a book that all green and crystalline and then the camera zooms out and *A GIANT DICTIONARY MADE OF WEED*
Oh, and Dickey Simpkins' life story. |

Hassan's Rumpus Room is one of the worst non-de Sade things I've ever read and caused me to quit Naked Lunch out of disgust. |

Of those books you listed, I've only read A Confederacy of Dunces and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Read Neuromancer, as you are well-versed in your medieval geometry and theology, so you should also read Neuromancer, to experience *ASSLESS CHAPS*
Naked Lunch is not dissimilar to some of my.more incomprehensible yet totally readable 2007 posts in some ways, you'll see what I mean |
