I don't feel right starting a new thread about this, so I'm also gonna use this thread to say Fred Phelps is an extremely interesting monster. Theldorrin probably thinks he's the perfect Christian, since his entire faith is built on the extreme stuff most Christians (including clergyman) ignore or sheepishly gloss over.

I guess what I like is that he's insane but very well-spoken. He doesn't sound like a hick with a list of quotes, he sounds like his interior monologue actually uses the same diction as the King James bible.

People are such faggots about Colbert being "better" than the Daily Show. The Daily Show is much more versatile in its stories and can have very solid interviews. I love the Colbert Report, but literally everything on the show is built on one character, the interviews are often as not clueless nervous retards or jackasses trying badly to play along. I'm not gonna be roped into an argument where I have to attack something I do enjoy a lot, but only a retard can act like the Report is definitively better than the Daily Show.

There's also the fact that everybody thinks there is a necessary conflict between the shows, and cannot hear mention of one without saying which they like better like a fucking genius does
