I've got a kid now and he's pretty great! In fact, the worst thing so far is having every shit suburban mom tell me how miserable I'm going to be. It is literally impossible to say even one pleasant thing about parenting without some sunken horror (more like whore-ar!) going "Oh, it's fine now, but just wait until he starts talking and mehmemehraaaaaaaaaaa." Most of this probably comes from moms feeling insecure/undervalued about what they do, but jesus, have some god damn tact. Why don't YOU just wait until I kick your ass!!!!!!!!
