I've GOTTEN INTO Dexter recently.

This show is quite gripping!

Though there was definitely a not-so-subtle change in the characters between the first season and the second (when it changed from being an adaptation of the books to independently-scripted).

Dexter became a lot more NORMAL and lost most of his sociopathic characteristics (VERY DISAPPOINTING), and literally every female character except Debra became unbearable.

The end of the last season was pretty great. Also Debra is by far the worst character in the show and the book.

Now that I've watched the first four seasons, I can definitely say that Season 3 is in last place!

It's not BAD, it's just not as good as the others.

Actually, a lot of characters in this show, aside from Dexter himself, are horrible. There is Debre, Rita, that whiny goth girl, the black cop who was always in dexter's face, the mexican cop, the mexican female cop, debra's cop lover landy or something, the guy who is supposed to be a perverted colleague of dexter as some sort of comic relief, the other mexican guy who becomes friends with dexter to kill people together.

I guess the worst was the black guy who was always in dexter's face, but somehow I instantly missed him whe he died.

Doakes was the shit! I hated how he cockblocked Dexter all the time, but he was a great character and I was not happy when they killed him.

I like Debra. She can be annoying, but there's some generally endearing quality about her.

Rita I went back and forth on. I feel like they ruined her character when they made her more assertive, though. It's still kind of a shame she died, for the same reason it sucked that Doakes died, because they were the only real limits imposed on Dexter ever.

I also like Debra. I can't stand Rita though, she's fucking awful. I was very pleased when she died.

Debra is kind of a bitch, but that's okay because she's tough and smart and takes care of herself!

Rita just fucking nags and demands things, like a cunt, and is worthless in every way.

I guess I could see people being annoyed by Masuka (personally I like him!), but what the hell is "horrible" about Lundy? Lundy is just some old dude.

I liked Doakes also.

Dexter's English girlfriend was horrendous.

I liked Lundy in season 4 until he died.

Early Rita was better than Debra.Well, to be honest, even late Rita was better than Debra.

Debra has such an annoying whiney voice and teh actress that plays her really does a shitty job. Whenever she blabbers and cries, its so....fuck.

Early Rita was cute and adorable!
