I used to have a fantasy of making a no-filler edit of DBZ.

Or, rather, it was my opinion that it's how they should have produced international versions of the show, since the only reason the filler existed at all was to buy time in Japan.

It really weakens/dilutes the anime!

However, even scenes that were in the manga were PACED too slowly, so it's not like cutting out filler scenes would solve every problem.

Still, the whole series would probably be about 150 episodes long if you did this.

It's kind of bizarre how the Dragon Ball shows ran 50 weeks a year with no off-season, but that's Japan for ya! Toei Animation is a fucking horrific machine.

There are ASPECTS of DBZ for which nobody can compete with me.

Basically anything having to do with the production of the show, the dub in particular.
