Let's conquer vast tracts of land while not neglecting the economic development of our nations! I have the first expansion, Warlords, but not the second one. If you don't have it we can still play the original.

Civilization is pretty slow in single player. I'm not sure how it would work with multiplayer.

There is an active multiplayer (non-turn-based).

Although maybe the original game is a little bit more balanced than Fall From Heaven.

I don't know what Fall from Heaven is all about, but with all your talk of imbalance, I'm guessing that the factions are very different, like Starcraft. But in the regular game, the civilizations are 95% the same.

Fall From Heaven is very unbalanced.

Fire mana is ridiculously powerful, for one thing. And sprawling is pretty insane as a trait.

I don't know if the pirated copy is able to play with a non-pirated copy.

So who is genuinely interested in getting a game started this weekend, or next if it takes more planning? I can even wake up before 8:00 PM (an unheard of action) if you can't stay up too late.

It just gets boring playing the AI after awhile. What am I supposed to do, brag to the computer how I steamrolled his capital in two turns?

The AI is retarded, anyway. They never forgive you for not agreeing to stop trading with some other civ 1000 years earlier.

I just got the new expansion and the AI is a little better, especially how they handle their economy (Theldorrin will be pleased to know that they no longer cover their entire empire in farms). They still make some bone headed decisions during wars though.
