So anyway, it's obviously a STORY MODE of some sort.

Sakurai said he always wanted to have a huge single player in Smash Bros., but MIYAMOTO wouldn't allow it since "there's already lots of great single player games, make a great multiplayer game." Sakurai said that now he has freedom, he'll do whatever he wants!

Well, apparently some SPANISH MAGAZINE or something called VENTENDO had an interview with the CREATOR OF SMASH BROS. and, well, he apparently CONFIRMED SONIC *could* be in. Or something. Just look.

"Well, it´s a hard question, I will tell you...Sonic is in the game, but now....the last confirmation from SEGA. Due to the release date is so close, the last day which SEGA is able to send its....(I guess -confirmation-) is the 26th of this month, in this day we are planning to give an update in our official site telling if SEGA´s mascot will be included or not. Personally I´m crossing my fingers."

So Sega has to confirm him by the 26th of this month, and they'll tell everyone if he's in or not on the 26th, I suppose. That last part seems IFFY since I assumed an announcement like that would've been HELD BACK for something bigger.

No one has been able to find this magazine so far so I'll keep you posted!

I watched some thing on Game Trailers where some SPIKE TV guy or something interviewed Reggie, and he asked him at the very end "Smash Bros., that's online, right?" and Reggie wouldn't answer him.

I just wish they'd STOMP ON OUR BALLS NOW so that we could get over by the time the game comes out.
