I dont see TV going anyware in the next 20 years. Also for our current BB networks in the usa for DSL being like 80% adsl lines that will not be able to carrie the type of bandwith for half that shit. Something new and cheap is going to have to emerge to replace our fiber and copper internet. Unless google wants to pay for laying like 3 billion miles of fiber. |

The eye with the Pyramid. The Illuminati. Don't fall for the Beast, when he will be after you. Check the back of your dollar bill, the eye rests upon the pyramid with it's 13 bloodlines, with it's foreign language, "New World Order". Don't fall for the coming of the Beast, 666. Don't wear his sign on your hand/forehead. |

Its like one of those shitty 50's news articles or shows about how the future will be. Basically, all they do is take the newest idea, and assume the future will have more of that, and anything else more than a year old will be obselete.
Take the "paper-less" office, for example. It has been hyped for the past few decades, envisioning a near future where no one uses paper, and its all database, computers, and emails, but thats not the way it is happening. Electronic data is used along-side paper, and paper is still important.
Our company last year bought a file storage company, where they go to multinational companies and stores their physical files for them in a big warehouse. These companies pay big money, to have thousands of physical paper filed away in a secure, and easy-to-find manner. Why? Because physical copies are still very important. |

Then it is this annoying insistance of Google being the biggest corporation in the world in the future. All future predictions do that nowadays.
While Google might continue growing at a fast rate, it is also possible that it wont be a big player 50 years from now, considering how unpredictable the world of business can be. |

Then there is this idea of a copyright-free future. It is more likely that the laws will be more flexible in some degrees to be able to find a balance. Napster came almost a decade ago, and it didnt kill copyright. P2P wasnt completely stopped, but nowadays people buy music online, meaning that a balance can be found. |

Paperless offices really have no chance until the people that didn't grow up with computers are all dead.
There are still many people that print out their emails for inexplicable reasons. |

God damn I hate people who fucking print everything.
I know two middle aged guys like that (WELL, THE GUYS I WORK FOR). They print shit constantly for no real reason, everything has to be a hard copy for some reason, and these also happen to be guys who are "concerned about the environment" and are always going to pains to recycle and whatnot. One of them went as far as to buy a biodiesel car.
They both have $200K+ annual incomes that all gets disposed of, and they consume huge amounts of various resources and THROW THEIR WEIGHT AROUND in any number of ways.
But they'll be damned if they see you NOT RECYCLING a piece of paper!
It's like, hey shitheads, not only does it not make a goddamn lick of difference if you, personally, recycle, but the problems you are creating in the world with the REST of your massively-consumptive lifestyle absolutely dwarf any "help" you are providing by recycling and driving a biodiesel car. I'm sure you sleep better at night though!
Actually their behavior is kind of a microcosm of this whole society. The basic lifestyle completely lays waste to the planet, while they toss little band-aids around here and there to feel good about themselves. |
