i'm not a big fan of fondant, i don't think it tastes very good, so i tried using white chocolate. it came out ok, but next time i need to find a better way of cutting it.

you knit right Morgan? do you have any pictures of your projects? i've knit a couple scarves, but that's pretty much it. i would like to move on to bigger projects, but i tend to get lazy and abandon my knitting.

I need to start sewing again though, although the only thing I can think of to sew are kitsch curtains for the kitchen of the new place we are renting.

I haven't made anything noteworthy yet, sadly.

All of my shit is unfinished. I have a couple scarves, and some hats. And I made some weird pouch thing. But I ended up sewing a better pouch and embroidered it with a gay little flower, and then I stuck the knitted pouch inside as a liner.

A sewing project I'm wanting to do is make chapstick pockets for my running shorts. I have to bring chapstick with me wherever I go, and none of my running shorts have any pockets, so I thought a tiny chapstick-sized pocket with a velcro flap would be GREAT.

The thing with me is I really don't have the concentration it takes to do a project from start to finish. Even with something passive like reading, unless I'm super in to it, I can only go for maybe 20-30 minutes at a time.

So, knitting anything complicated is almost impossible for me. Trying to get back to something when you can't remember what row you're on or whatever is gay. I haven't invested in those row-counter things or stitch holders or whatever they are, so I use a makeshift tally on a piece of paper, but sometimes I forget what the stuff I've written means if it's been too long.

Also, I've never figured out how to change to a new ball of yarn. I'll cross that bridge one day, I suppose!
